I really enjoy Chad Zunker's books, and this is no exception。 Yes, he missed lots of potential opportunities for thrilling altercations and violence, and the end seemed like bit of an anticlimax。 But it was a good read that delayed my bed time by an hour。 It is essentially a mystery - who exactly is the main character's wife and where is she? I would have enjoyed it if Zunker drove up the suspense during the chase a lot more, but there was enough to keep me completely engaged。 I really enjoy Chad Zunker's books, and this is no exception。 Yes, he missed lots of potential opportunities for thrilling altercations and violence, and the end seemed like bit of an anticlimax。 But it was a good read that delayed my bed time by an hour。 It is essentially a mystery - who exactly is the main character's wife and where is she? Captivating plotEverything seems perfect at the beginning, prior to everything turning upside down。 That's when you can't put this book down。 Event after event rolls by making the mystery go deeper and deeper。 Zunker knows how to keep the reader captivated。 There is finally some light at the end of the proverbial tunnel then the mystery is revealed。 The ending is a bit far fetched, and fiction prevails。 If your looking for suspense and action, this ones for you! A cautionary tale…… for when you marry someone who refuses to speak about their past, and what little information they do tell you, is mostly fabricated。 I’m trying hard to avoid spoilers, but my main doubt that this story could even happen is the Real ID system we currently have in the US。 This is an interesting read, and you can see by my three stars that I did still find enjoyment in its pages。 It was a tiny bit out there for me。

C’mon Son!The premise of this book was good。 I enjoyed the tension and suspense that was built up early in the book。 My mind was spinning trying to figure out where Ashley and her daughter could’ve gone。 It started to go downhill for me when Luke began his own investigation。 His actions were dangerous and hard to believe, but that wasn’t the worst of it。 The discovery of his wife’s identity and her sketchy past was so ridiculous。 The fact that she married him didn’t even make sense。 When the ful C’mon Son!The premise of this book was good。 I enjoyed the tension and suspense that was built up early in the book。 My mind was spinning trying to figure out where Ashley and her daughter could’ve gone。 It started to go downhill for me when Luke began his own investigation。 His actions were dangerous and hard to believe, but that wasn’t the worst of it。 The discovery of his wife’s identity and her sketchy past was so ridiculous。 The fact that she married him didn’t even make sense。 When the full truth came out at the end, I just wanted to toss the book out the window。 Luke’s final reaction and decision made me groan and roll my eyes。 。。。more

Thoroughly enjoyed the fast pace plot of this book。 It kept me trying to figure out who was who as the characters kept getting added to the storyline。 I raced through this book because I really wanted to see what the end was going to be。 (I do wish he could have gotten into those offshore accounts 💰) I think he could have developed Ashley a little more and described their relationship (friends, daily life ) more so we could bond with them more。 I would definitely read another of his books。

Heartwarming taleThis is a fun thriller with twists similar to a Harlan Coben novel。 I like the simplistic writing approach as it helps the story move quickly。 There are parts where belief has to be suspended but everything ties together in a heartwarming manner。

Another good suspense read from one of my favorite authors。 In this one, Luke and Ashley are happily married。 Ashley has always been private and doesn't share too much of her life。 After an act of heroic bravery, Ashley draws attention she never expected。 Before Luke can ask questions, Ashley and her daughter Joy disappear。 This book kept my attention from start to finish。 It was a little predictable, and I figured out much of the story quickly, but I enjoyed it nonetheless。 This is a book that Another good suspense read from one of my favorite authors。 In this one, Luke and Ashley are happily married。 Ashley has always been private and doesn't share too much of her life。 After an act of heroic bravery, Ashley draws attention she never expected。 Before Luke can ask questions, Ashley and her daughter Joy disappear。 This book kept my attention from start to finish。 It was a little predictable, and I figured out much of the story quickly, but I enjoyed it nonetheless。 This is a book that you have to suspend belief with, but it was a good popcorn read。 。。。more

This is a quick, thrilling read。 A man on the hunt for his missing wife and step daughter。 He knows they are together and left seemingly by choice。 The question is why did they suddenly leave?
